Living with Angels

It's easy to imagine that Angels exist.  Somewhere.  Out there.  For some, they are very close.  For others, they seem much further away.

What's harder to imagine is that we too are Angels.  Some call that aspect of us an Earth Angel.  Others call it our Inner Angel.  Yet others call it our Soul, or Higher Self.  The label hardly matters.  We humans love labels, we can get lost in labels and lose the meaning.

What matters is this: we are divine.  Most of us do a very fine job hiding our divinity.  We trudge through life, ground down by the nitty gritty.  But when we let go of the outside, inside is our Magic.

When we fall in love, we see our beloved's Inner Angel.  And they see ours.  When we are in love, we see so clearly the magnificence within and the nitty gritty is irrelevant.  Traffic jams and bills still exist, but they don't touch us because we are totally connected with our Inner Angel.  And everyone we meet is showered in our love.

Sustaining that may seem like a tall order.  But I'm not asking you to sustain.  I'm suggesting we use the memory as a map, as a reminder of who you are, who you truly are, underneath the clothing of life.

Angels see our Inner Angel.  That's who they relate to, that's who they speak to, that's who they encourage and cheer on.  Our magnificence, though lost to us, is all they see.  They see through our faults and failings and perceive only our essence, our Inner Angel.

Life is so much more magical when we are in love.  So let's fall back in love.  With ourselves.  With our loved ones.  With the annoying guy at the bus stop.  Inside each of us is infinite beauty and relating to each other as Angels lets that beauty shine for all to see.
